Under this title on 11 December, the Spiritual and Educational Center of the Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Bobruisk together with the educational institution "Bobruisk State Special General Education Boarding School for Children with Hearing Disabilities" held a seminar for parents of children with disabilities.
A community worker of 'Fate and hope' institution attended the seminar where parents were given advice on topical issues and ways of implementing state legal guarantees.
Some of the important issues that parents noted were the education of their children, their employment, and the receipt of the necessary means of rehabilitation. Seminar participants received information about government agencies and public organizations that provide assistance to children with disabilities and their families.
Special literature on working with children with disabilities and their families was handed over to the Spiritual and Educational Center from the 'Fate and Hope' institution.
At the end of the seminar, the parents noted the importance of obtaining information for themselves about organizations that provide assistance, about the psychological aspects of the development, adaptation and socialization of children with disabilities, about examples of protecting the interests of families raising children with disabilities, and the implementation of state legal guarantees.
