In 2020 the specialists of the Fate and Hope institution received appeals from families and citizens who faced various difficulties in life from Minsk and from the regions of Belarus.
For the period from January to December 2020 people who turned to the institution's team for help were provided with various types of support (information, legal, psychological and material assistance, care assistance, long-term support with comprehensive assistance):
- 17 citizens, among whom there are people with disabilities, the elderly ones, as well as young people from the category of former orphans;
- 23 families with minor children, including children with disabilities, as well as large families.
The team of the institution did not stand aside during the difficult epidemic period. From April to June 2020 we prepared and transferred aid in the form of PPE and food to medical institutions.
In addition, assistance in the form of personal protective equipment, detergents, hygiene products and fruits was provided to the “Orphanage-boarding school for disabled children with psychophysical development” state institution (Novinki settlement) and Makanovichsky psycho-neurological boarding house for the elderly and disabled (Gomel region). In October specialists from the Fate and Hope institution rendered assistance in the form of diapers to one of the children's palliative departments in Grodno.
The institution has repeatedly provided assistance to the shelter for homeless people, organized by Alexei Shchedrov in the village of Aleksandrovka, and assistance to the "Canteen for the Homeless", organized by Alexander Chernitsky in Minsk.
In the coming year our specialists are continuing their activities aimed at helping needy families and citizens. The institution's team of specialists is made up of volunteers who do their work free of charge.
We continue our activities and invite those who wish to cooperate in providing assistance to those who find themselves in difficult life situations and need the support of caring people.
